I have been following crafters on Ebay and Etsy for quite awhile now. There is no doubt that Etsy is gaining serious ground in the “selling” game and there are a lot of reasons to pick them as a place to sell your crafts. However, it maybe profitable to sell on both Ebay and Etsy.
Ebay has the history and without a doubt more traffic. You can sell with a “buy it now” and not use the auction model which makes it more like a real online store.
